The IT Club of S. Thomas’ College Bandarawela endeavors to provide a platform for students interested in Information and Communication Technology to showcase their skills and gain knowledge as well as live a more productive life combining technology. The IT Club plays a major role in bringing College to the forefront by using the latest technologies in College activities such as Live Streaming College events to enable worldwide viewers to experience them via the site.
In order to webcast a Uva and Thomian Cricket encounter, the website was first developed in 2014. The website was terminated after a few months of inactivity. After eight years, the current president of the IT club, Induwara Weerarathna, and team relaunched it with the modern technologies. You can read articles about technology written by members of the IT Club and explore any college photo albums going back to 2012. Additionally, we have set up the website for next events’ live streaming and cloud video. The website is responsive to mobile devices, and we are already working on an Android app.
